The overall responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst, are:
Play a supporting role in the business where he/she develops logical and conceptual data flows that are in support of departmental project requirements and guides our various departments in appropriate and effective use of data. Play a part in shaping the business’s data infrastructure
Set up the financial reporting tools and processes
Use data to guide assigned departments through all programs and initiatives, enabling continuous improvement in data quality, performance, and overall business performance
Support and suggest change management activities with regard to data analysis across our departments
Work with the business management team and key stakeholders in developing detailed business requirements, conducting gap analyses, creating functional designs, and guiding the business’s leadership through analytical data processing when needed
Proactively play an analytical role where he/she is responsible for developing KPIs within the business for the purpose of identifying trends and evaluating the success of the business’s initiatives
Analyse large data-sets, develop clear and well-structured analytical plans, build statistical models, diagnose, validate, and improve the performance of these models over time
Mine the company’s database in search of critical business insights and communicate findings to the business at large
Identify, communicate and resolve data gaps that impact the fulfillment of the business’s functional requirements
Identify, evaluate and document potential data sources in support of project requirements
Build and operationalize processes that ensure timely data-loading and maintain accuracy and relevance of data used within the data department
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities; established ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate across functional areas and various levels of management.

Ability to manage own work demands amid shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent analytical and IT skills
Ability to build up the data analysis environment
Coding skills (such as Python, Java, or Scala)
Analytics tools experience (such as Pandas, R, SPSS, SQL, or Hadoop)
Strong ability to query databases using SQL
Possess strong business acumen and the ability to explain problems and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
The ideal candidate will have 3-4+ years of related professional experience
Bachelor degree in Economics, MIS, Statistics or related field is optional.
