Product Manager

Job description

Are you interested in working on the OpenClassrooms roadmap and strategy? Come work with us! You will help pave the future of education by building crucial, creative features in line with our goals and vision. You will also analyze product spec needs and work with different teams at OpenClassrooms to build the best product possible (with teams like UX, UI, Tech, Communication, Marketing, Sales, and more) in an agile setting.

 

You will analyse the requirements from stakeholders inside the company (Education, Student Success, Communication, Marketing, Sales, and more) and work with UX, UI, Tech in your agile team, to propose innovative solutions and deliver new features and solve users problems.

 

REPORTING LINE

 

Reports to the VP Product.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Constantly search for your target audience interests and problems to solve
  • Prioritize functionalities based on our vision and strategy
  • Collect and analyze user feedback and data in order to adapt the solutions
  • Create and document user stories for UX and UI work
  • Ensure the backlog is constantly organized and prioritized in order to ship the most relevant functionalities at the right times
  • Manage high-quality and on-time product releases
  • Communicate internally about product evolution

 

Requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED

 

  • Highly skilled at product strategy, data gathering and analysis, synthesis and prioritization of requirements, wireframing/specification writing, development cycle management
  • Understanding of complex technical limitations and needs
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent or native-level English
  • Good technical background
  • UML experience is a plus

  

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management with significant high-volume website experience
  • Significant experience as a Product Manager in an agile team
  • Experience building products on tight deadlines
  • Experience defining specs and product needs
  • Interest in Education

 

HIRING PROCESS

 

The journey starts with a phone interview and a meeting with Audrey, Hiring Manager.

Then we plan face to face meetings with Fanny, VP Product and Romain, CTO.

For the final round, you will meet some members of the Tech team and some members of other teams (Student Success, Revenues, Marketing…)

You will be asked to provide us with professional references contact detail.
