As a SEO Strategist, you will be a key member of the Growth Team, in charge of increasing the OpenClassrooms platform’s organic traffic and play a key role in growing our student base.


You will be comfortable working in a “all hands-on deck” environment, able to operate and coordinate with multiple teams (eg.: Tech, Product, Communication teams), and thrive at the intersection of Marketing and Technology.






Reports to the VP Growth




Working alongside our Growth specialists, your responsibilities will include:


  • Perform regular site audits, comprehensive keywords research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities;
  • Set up and execute a strategy for optimizing the visibility of the OpenClassrooms platform on the different search engines;
  • Push initiatives for improving site architecture, content and ranking in organic search results;
  • Own reporting and analysis of performance metrics and regularly share them with the team;
  • Collaborate with Tech, Product and Communication teams to facilitate all SEO initiatives.




  • Team-player with excellent written and communication presentation skills;
  • Enthusiastic, result-driven and eager to learn something new every day;
  • Self-starter and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadline in a fast-paced environment;
  • A fundamental understanding of technical SEO issues, including site architecture optimization, keyword research, link building and on-page/off-page optimization;
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and 3rd party rank tracking tools & link analysis tools;
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. 




  • A first 2-3 year hands-on experience as a SEO specialist;
  • Business or Engineering Degree with an emphasis on quantitative disciplines. 



The journey starts with a phone interview and a meeting with Audrey, Hiring Manager. Then we plan face to face meetings with Matthieu, VP Growth and some people from our Growth team.

For the final round, you will meet with our CMO and some members of the other teams.

We’ll also take time for you to walk around our facilities and ask every single question you may have.
