RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You’ll support the CHRO in the definition and implementation of the People Operations strategy for OpenClassrooms. You will rely on technology to foster our effectiveness so that we create a best-in-class experience for all our team members and support the company in its exciting fast-growing phase.
  • You’ll lead and inspire the People Operations team (1 People Operations Manager, 1 People Operations Coordinator and 1 Compensation & Benefits Manager) and will work closely together with the rest of the HR team to create seamless processes and optimise the employee experience.
  • You'll collaborate with the other senior leaders of the business to understand what data insights they need to make informed people-led decisions and share regular reports in a user-friendly format, to report on key data and help analyse trends.
  • Together with the Compensation & Benefits Manager - who you will be managing - you will ensure that we offer competitive packages not only to attract and retain the best talent, but also to keep a fair and transparent compensation & benefits structure across all locations and departments. In that sense, you will be leading the implementation of the “Clearwage'' platform so that our team members can easily understand the required skills and corresponding level of remuneration for all job positions in the group. You will also manage the relationship with all benefit providers, aligning our benefits offer across all the locations.
  • You will ensure that the payroll process is timely and efficiently managed in all the locations where Openclassrooms is present (France, UK, US and Spain - and other states and countries in the future - as we continue our international development and have moved to a “remote-first policy”).
  • From an administrative & contractual point of view, you’ll ensure that our employees’ documentation is drafted, executed and stored in line with the local regulations. You will develop a customer-centric culture in your team, making sure that all employees' queries are answered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You will design and implement our international mobility policy, ensuring its success both from compensation & benefits and visa’s obtention perspectives.

YOUR BACKGROUND 

  • At least 10 years of experience in working in an international People Operations team with a strong customer-centric approach
  • Deep knowledge of French payroll processes and experience with managing other countries’ people operations
  • Detail-oriented & data-driven leader with excellent organisation skills
  • Great knowledge of implementing, managing and integrating different HR systems & tools
  • Ability to think ahead and motivate your team to achieve great things together
  • Excellent communication skills, ethics, & cultural awareness
  • Positive attitude, "can-do" approach and convinced that the best work happens when we work as a team

HIRING PROCESS

  • The journey starts with a first interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
  • Then a videoconference with the Manager of the team you are applying to join
  • This will then be followed by a case study to validate your practical job-related skills 
  • For the very final round, you will meet other team members (Brand & Comms, Learning, Employers & Student Success, Finance…)
  • Finally, you will be asked to provide us with professional references including contact details.
