 In this role, you will:

  • Be part of the Company Leadership team and contribute to the successful and sustainable growth of the company
  • Support the CFO in delivering key projects (e.g. Involvement in upcoming IFRS conversion project), ensuring a best in class finance function, accelerating automation and managing and co-ordinating as required
  • Build business partner relationships across the company and collaborate to achieve company objectives
  • Be proactive in evaluating and optimising our existing processes, and rapidly implementing new, improved ones, leveraging technology where relevant, to build a financial infrastructure which can support the pace of growth
  • Apply strong analytical and commercial skills and acumen to diverse finance related initiatives
  • Assist with management of c. 30 people strong finance team

  • You are a qualified finance professional - with either an accounting or finance background and a track record of career progression and increasing responsibility within the finance function of a company
  • You'll be a true leader in the finance profession, using innovative practices to bring business success to bottom line performance
  • Experience of flourishing in dynamic, quickly evolving high-growth / scaling companies is advantageous
  • You have great communication skills and love working with people and technology
  • You are organized, structured in your approach to work and pay strong attention to detail,
  • You are decisive, data-oriented and metrics driven
  • You'll be comfortable diving into the finance and accounting detail, as well as in formulating high level business strategy, and are comfortable flexibly adapting and working on multiple projects
  • Highly motivated, driven individual who relishes a challenge, and can contribute effectively to a fast-paced and reasonably complex company 
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate closely with people and other functions and ability to influence
  • Strong commercial acumen with the gravitas and confidence to lead change, Improve processes and enhance the provision of value add analysis. 
  • Intellectually curious and a clear and critical thinker
  • Strong team and people management/ leadership skills : enthusiastically builds, manages, mentors and inspires teams; Challenges people to set and achieve ambitious goals and holds them accountable.
  • You know current tools including Netsuite, Salesforce/ Sofacto helpful
  • Expert excel skills and proven financial modeling skills a necessity, ease of working with Google suite expected
  • Fluent English speaker, French advantageous but not essential
  • You demonstrate interest in Education and OpenClassrooms mission 
  • You are innovative with the confidence to embrace new ways of doing things, including automating functions, finding scalable solutions and driving continuous improvement


Relevant masters degree or relevant professional qualification and experience (8+ years, of which at least 3 years as a leader)

The journey starts with a phone interview with Magdalena (HR team member) (30 minutes).

For the 1st round of interviews we plan face to face (Google Meet/ ZOOM) meetings with:

  • Yulia, HR (1 hour) 
  • Laela, CFO, (1 hour)

For the 2nd round of interviews, you plan to:

  • Take a technical assessment (business or study case,…) to be done at home or at the office (2 hours)
  • Take an English test to be done at home (at your own pace)

For the final round, we plan face to face with:

  • 2 Team members of the hiring manager (1 hour)
  • 2 or 4 peers from teams across the organization to discuss about Culture and Values at OpenClassrooms (2 hours)
  • Meet with members of OpenClassrooms Executive C-team (1 hour) 
  • We'll also take time for you to walk around our facilities and have chats with our people if possible.
