As Business Analyst at OpenClassrooms you will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goal of becoming an internationally accredited higher education institution.
Working collaboratively with business units across the entire organisation, you will be responsible for defining and documenting business processes and project-managing their implementation to ensure we are fully compliant with the requirements of international accreditors and regulatory bodies and drawing of good practice in the higher education sector.
The responsibilities of the role are to:
Analyse the requirements set by external accreditors and regulatory bodies who set the standards and quality assurance expectations for the higher education sector in France, UK and USA.
Analyse current business processes to identify compliance gaps against accreditation and regulatory standards and general opportunities for process improvements.
Working collaboratively with teams across OpenClassrooms (admissions, student and employer success, biz dev, etc.), be responsible for ensuring the implementation of cross-functional business processes that are fully compliant with international accreditation standards and regulatory body requirements.
Evaluate potential solutions to ensure they meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Define and document new or revised business processes.
Develop project plans to support business units’ implementation of new processes.
Engage with external accreditors and regulators.
Reports to the VP Accreditation.
Organisational chart appended.
Native English or French speaker; must have (or be able to gain quickly) a strong command of the other language.
Passionate about and understanding of the culture of a fast-paced edtech organisation with ambitious growth plans.
Has proven success in managing complex change and the ability to operate successfully in fast moving, demanding and ambiguous environments.
Experienced in business process mapping and process improvement.
Able to work within an Agile environment where focus can be on multiple projects prioritised by different areas of the business
Able to identify risks, benefits and costs of change management and to actively encourage cultural change where business processes can be automated and improved.
A good listener who inspires trust and confidence and builds rapport with colleagues.
Sensitive to the needs of disparate interest groups.
Able to challenge current practice and conventional wisdom in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to apply creative thinking to find effective solutions to complex data.
Able to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, present compelling arguments both written and oral, and present information in an accurate and appropriate format.
Hands-on project management experience with a “roll up the sleeves,” action-oriented approach and a love for getting things done.
Ability to prioritise workload and to manage competing deadlines.
Experience of working in a regulated environment and preferably in higher education (nice to have).
The journey starts with a phone interview with Claudia, VP Accreditation (30 minutes).
For the 1st round of interviews you will meet face to face with:
- Claudia Luca, VP Accreditation (1 hour)
For the 2nd round of selection, you will:
- Take a technical assessment (case study) to be done at home or at the office (2 hours)
- Take an English test to be done at home (at your own pace)
For the final round, you will meet face to face with:
- Audrey, Talent Acquisition Manager or Kuldish, VP Talent (1h)
- 2 members of the Leadership team (1 hour)
- 2 peers from teams across the organization to discuss Culture and Values at OpenClassrooms (1 hour)
If you reach the final round, you will be asked to provide us with the contact details of 5 professional referees.
