RESPONSABILITES

OpenClassrooms is committed to expand its mission by collaborating with partners, typically actors of the education and HR ecosystems, who can either expand OpenClassrooms footprint or add value for employers or learners with services complementary to our learning programs. The Channel Partner Director is responsible for planning, developing and managing the OpenClassrooms indirect channel business for a particular territory. The Channel Partner Director defines strategic business initiatives, develops new re/co-selling agreements and manages the business generated through a portfolio of existing partnerships. Given the early stage of the indirect business model for OpenClassrooms, the responsibility also includes some significant contribution to the setup of underlying internal foundations (tools, processes, cross-team sales operations).

In particular in this role you will:

• Own and deliver the Channel Partner sales targets for a specific territory;
• Develop new reselling or co-selling or lead referral partnerships;
• Manage and grow a “Book of Business” from a portfolio of Channel Partners, with the support of the direct sales and customer support teams;
• Contribute to the definition of business plan and go-to-market initiatives;
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of best practices, processes, tools and other foundations to enable Channel Sales activity at scale;
• Contribute to the product roadmap and customers services by exposing Channel Partner requirements to the Product and Global Operations teams;

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of B2B or channel selling in complex, international environment;
• Hands-on experience on building business and processes at a fast pace;
• Experience in people management and/or leadership role;
• Experience in start-up and scale-up environment would be a plus;
• Experience in Education andr HR ecosystems would be a plus;
• Experience of business strategy and marketing would be a plus;

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• All around business acumen (strategy, marketing, prospection, sales, pricing, P&L, contract, negotiation, closing, account management, forecasting);
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
• Bilingual in French and English (C1-level minimum, native English is a plus);
• Cross-team, cross-companies project management skills;
• Expert in defining and documenting processes, ensuring standardization;

Nice to have:

• People direct (hiring, onboarding, coaching etc.) and indirect management;
• Good understanding of web-based and SaaS technologies;
• At ease with Salesforce, Msft & Google office suites, Slack & Notion;

REPORTING LINE

The role is attached to the Revenue Department and reports to the VP Channel Partnerships.
