As we complete our post-application actions to gain final approved status on the English Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP) we are now seeking experienced consultants to help in the detailed design and operational delivery of higher level apprenticeships standards in digital, data and technology.
This role is for an experienced consultant to support the design of our Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship.
Led by our Head of Track, Luc Bertrand, we are looking for a freelance consultants for around 10-20 days across August and September. We can offer complete freedom to work from any location while designing and writing. Some occasional travel may be required for meetings in London and/or Paris.
In this role, you will:
Support the Head of Track in the overarching design of the learning journey, curriculum plan and scheme of work
Map to the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors of the standard, knowledge modules and vendor certification requirements
Help embed maths and English, prevent, safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and safety and equal opportunity into the design
Write project scenarios, assignments and assessments
Write guidance materials for mentors, coaches and assessors
Help in the curation and design of appropriate online courses for apprentices and employers.
Expertise in modern Data Science / Analysis principles and techniques
Curriculum and assessment design, with understanding of Project-based pedagogy
Writing schemes of work for apprenticeships (covering on and off the job training requirements)
Understanding of the ESFA and Ofsted compliance requirements that will underpin the quality design and delivery of an English apprenticeship
Native English speaker with great communication skills, both written and verbal.
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
5+ years of working as a Data Analyst or Data Science professional
Performed a senior role within in the design and delivery of apprenticeship standards in England (for a Training Provider, College or Employer)
Has worked as a trainer or assessor in the delivery of Data training programmes and apprenticeships
Worked with instructional designers and SMEs in the creation of online pedagogy and course content
Helped set-up internal quality assurance process to underpin standardised and consistent training delivery of work-based learning
Has worked as an EQA for an awarding organisation or examiner for an End Point Assessment organization (nice to have).
Reports to our Head of Track for our Data courses and Paths, responsible for the detailed design and production of our programme content. The consultant may also have dotted line responsibilities to the Director of UK Business Development and VP of Accreditations.
The journey starts with a phone interview with Luc, Head of Track, (30 minutes).
For the 1st round of interviews we plan a hangout meeting with:

Claudia Luca, VP of Accreditation (30 minutes)
