We’re looking for a unique and versatile profile with technical knowledge, process automation experience, data mining and analysis skills, and business common sense. People say you’re a simplifier; you have a natural tendency - and the technical knowledge and experience - to simplify/automate pretty much any business process or task. You love data in general. We have tons of data available spread out across multiple platforms and need your help putting it together to make sense of it and measure our team’s performance. You’re experienced managing software applications specifically in customer support/success (such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Gainsight, etc.). You often take initiatives and are constantly on the lookout to learn new things. You are ready to join an agile and fast-moving structure, with the goal to make education accessible to all.
Because of the “ninja” nature of the role, you’ll find below a list of ideal requirements for the role. That said, we’re open to consider candidates who have some of those skills but not all as long as they can justify their ability to learn and/or bring value to the role in a different way.
Reports to the Chief Student & Employer Success Officer.
In this role, you would:
Understand organization-wide requirements in order to support the Student & Employer Success team in tasks automation and light data mining/reporting
Turn existing time-consuming processes into sustainable and scalable automated tasks when possible
You may be brought to work on automating interactions between platforms (mostly between our CRM and XYZ), administrative tasks, etc.
You may also be brought to assess potential integrations with external partners
Coordination of API integrations as needed - working with our Tech team. You might need to be a Zapier ninja at times
Applications/Tools management (assessment, selection, implementation). For example: chatbots, CRMs, job boards, data analytics platforms, etc.
Data gathering, benchmarking, and ongoing KPI reporting to better inform decisions being made by the Student & Employer Success management team
Understanding of API integrations (you wouldn’t be implementing them on your own but should be able to actively participate in a conversation with our Tech Team on the topic)
Automation skills (Python programming, Excel, Zapier, etc.)
SQL queries writing skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
Data and business reporting skills
Ease for articulating technical requirements from business needs
Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff
Bilingual English and French
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Preferred, not required: Bachelor’s or Master’s level education in Engineering or another technical field (computer science related majors)
3+ years professional experience
2+ years SAAS experience
2+ years experience using Salesforce: Service Cloud preferred but Sales Cloud OK or other CRMs
2+ years experience using some (or all = bonus points) of the following tools: Periscope Data, Segment, Zendesk (or other ticketing platform), Zapier, MS Office, Amplitude (or other product analytics platform: Countly, Mixpanel, Localytics, etc.)
