As part of its business expansion, OpenClassrooms is looking for an experienced business developer to strengthen the existing Corporate sales team.


Demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit, at ease in fast-pacing and rapidly evolving environment, you help companies managing their talent pool.  You achieve so by selling the most adapted OpenClassrooms solutions and building sustainable relationships with customers stakeholders.


As a sales professional, you manage the entire sales cycle. You directly promote OpenClassrooms solutions to HR departments and operational business units of large-caps and strategic accounts part of various sectors such as Technology, Communication, Consulting, Banking, Insurance or Employment Outsourcing. A consultative selling approach is typically required, managing relationships with multiple stakeholders of various profiles. Interactions are ranging from professionals from HR to purchasing departments, end-users to C-level decision makers. The sales process also requires hands-on aptitudes such as producing value-based business proposals or executive summaries.


Initially the role is focused in France territory, with potential responsibilities expanding to other French-speaking European countries in the mid-term.

Job requirements



You have an engineering or business degree and a minimum 10 years of successful solutions selling experience to large corporations. You are passionate about selling disruptive technology solutions and ideally have done so in both large companies and startup or scale-up environments. 




  • In charge of the entire sales cycle within new accounts and possibly existing ones
  • Management of your pipeline and sales forecast using our CRM (Salesforce)
  •  Account management of your account portfolio
  • Own and deliver your sales targets
  • Account planning for your most important account
  • Contribute to the go-to-market strategy for the sector(s) of your accounts
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team for post-sales customer activities
  • Contribute to the product roadmap by exposing customer requirements to the Product team
  • In the mid-term, potentially develop partnerships and manage indirect selling through those
  • In the mid-term, potentially contribute to international expansion by selling in the rest of Europe  





  • Strong consultative selling skills with sales over-achievement track record
  • Strong knowledge and personal network within at least one of the above-mentioned sectors
  • Aligned with OpenClassrooms culture and principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills adapted to all levels of organizations
  • Bilingual in French and English (native English is a plus)
  • Curious, creative, rigorous, hands-on, tenacious, fast learner, challenger and result driven
  • At ease in fast-paced international environment
  • Strong interest and good understanding of web-based and SaaS solutions
  • Management, business strategy and marketing experiences would be welcome
  • Sales experience to HR stakeholders would be a plus




The journey usually starts with a phone interview with Audrey or someone else in the HR department. Then we plan face-to-face meetings with a bench of people within our Sales, Marketing, Education and Student Success organizations. At one point you will meet with Remy, VP Corporates Sales. We'll also take time for you to walk around our facilities and have chats with our people.
