Inside Sales Representative (Students)

The Students Sales team works closely with the Marketing team which generates leads - potential students who shared their contact details or expressed an interest to follow one of the OpenClassrooms paths. The Students Sales Representatives' mission is to guide students through our different educational options to find the best fit for them. Afterward, they either sign a deal directly or pass it to the Admissions team which checks, pre-requisites and eligibility to funding programs and eventually helps them find an appropriate financing solution.


RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will: 

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Communicate OpenClassrooms' value proposition
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Enroll qualified students by maintaining the activity level defined for the position
  • Document via Outreach and Salesforce Applications all activities tracked by the management team and maintain stellar information to ensure accurate data regarding the prospective student
  • Work with fellow team members to improve inside sales tactics

Job requirements

    - You are autonomous, rigorous and methodical

          - You are result-driven
          - You are very comfortable using CRM tools (Outreach, Salesforce business management, telephone reminders, etc.)
          - You care about courtesy and kindness, listening, flexibility and availability
          - Professional English & French level is required
          QUALIFICATIONS
        • You have a BAC + 2 or higher diploma

        • You have at least a 2 year experience in a similar job

        REPORTING LINE

        • You will report to the B2C Sales Director

        RECRUITMENT PROCESS

        - The journey starts with a phone interview and a meeting with a Talent Sourcer.

        Then we plan face to face meetings with:

        - B2C Sales Director, as well as a few other people from teams across the organisation (Peers and HR)

        - You will also be asked to provide us with 3 professional references.
