Mid/Senior UX Designer

Job description

As part of our development in France and internationally, we are looking for an experienced UX Designer to help take our platform to the next level.


Your role as a UX expert will be to use your prior knowledge and experience - alongside our data - to provide useful analysis to help improve the OpenClassrooms platform. You’ll work alongside Product Manager and Creative Director






Reports to the CTO




Your role will include the following tasks:


  • Creating user stories and personas
  • Conducting benchmarks
  • Providing product improvement ideas
  • Taking part in team brainstorming and UX mapping meetings
  • Interface design (wireframing, web and mobile prototyping etc.)
  • Running and monitoring user tests
  • You’ll be able to present and defend your ideas in front of the team and well as participate in features and design meetings, with ideas eventually reaching our 2.5 million users across the world.




  • Ability to combine strategic thinking and operational excellence
  • Ability to work in an agile and constantly moving environment, adaptability and agility
  • Good spirit and empathy
  • You are comfortable speaking and writing in French and English (correct spelling required),
  • You have a good knowledge of UX methodologies, and a strong interest in interface design following Material design guidelines.
  • You master the wireframing tools ( Sketch, Axure or Balsamiq).
  • You are organized and able to handle multiple tasks head-on.
  • You are meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
  • Curious, passionate, you see the world in pixels, patterns and interactions.





  • 4 years experience in UX design, UX research or interaction design.
  • Portfolio with work examples 




The journey starts with a phone interview and a meeting with Audrey, Hiring Manager.

Then we plan face to face meetings with Fanny (VP Product), Mathieu and Kimberly (Senior UX). For the final round, you will meet Romain CTO, some members of the Tech team and some members of other teams (Student Success, Revenues, Marketing…)
