As OpenClassrooms is a fast growing start-up, its product has to maintain very high quality standards. As Quality Assurance Specialist in the Education Team, your role is to ensure that all internal requirements are met before our courses reach our students.

You will work closely with other members of the team to establish procedures and quality standards.

Fully integrated within the Instructional Graphic / Video department, you will have the capability to see every visual content issue.

You will be in charge of monitoring all data and communicating them to your team in order to drive improvement plans.




In this role, you will:

  • Quality

    • Test all visual content of OpenClassrooms courses at different steps in the production process

    • Identify critical control points and preventive measures

    • Record, analyze and distribute quality data to facilitate proactive solutions

    • Monitor the team's performance against our quality standards and identify areas for improvement

    • Review current technical standards in order to match the highest broadcasting quality

  • Processes

    • Establish  in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications

    • Build and improve the workflow to raise issues, prioritize them and assist in resolving them

    • Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output

  • Communication

    • Coordinate and communicate with the video team and the instructional design team on a daily basis to ensure quality standards are met

    • Communicate with other quality assurance specialists to build a strong synergy

    • Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action

    • Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality



  • Strong attention to detail and a results driven approach

  • Extensive knowledge of process improvement and enhancement

  • Excellent  English and French communication skills, both written and verbal (B2 level at the very least in both languages for team role and C1 level for management role)




  • Proven (4-5 years) experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role

  • Video and graphic production

  • Experience in Education is a plus


35k gross salary



Reports to the Video Production Director




The journey starts with a phone interview with Alexandre, Video Production Director (30 minutes).

For the 1st round of interviews we plan face to face meetings with:

  • Audrey, Talent Acquisition Manager and Alexandre, Video Production Director (1 hour)

For the 2nd round of interviews, you plan to:

  • 2 Team members of the Content Team (1 hour)

  • 2 from teams across the organization to discuss about Culture and Values at OpenClassrooms ( 1 hour)
