The Sales Operations team owns the full stack of processes and tools around revenue forecasting & measurement, sales administration/enablement, and CRM data quality over a unique range of B2C and B2B services and sales channels. The Revenue Performance team is at the core of our success as it will enable our entire organization to maintain a consistent and predictable revenue stream.

 

To lead the Revenue Performance team, OpenClassrooms is looking for a unique and versatile executive with significant experience in building and operating revenue management and/or and sales operations frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a management experience with a strong business acumen and the use of technology-enabled, data-driven processes (BI tools such as QlikView, the Salesforce CRM, forecasting tools, interfaces with billing systems, generating commission letters, etc)

You are a team player and have a proven track record of  breaking down silos across the organization. In this role, you will be at the heart of OpenClassrooms collaborating with every department from Sales and Customer Success to Data and Finance. You often take on initiatives and are constantly on the lookout to learn new things. You are ready to join an agile and fast-moving environment, with the goal to make education accessible to all.  



RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Build and own the revenue performance framework covering CRM, forecasting, pipeline management, sales administration, revenue reporting, and commission analysis.
  • Hold the Revenue team accountable for their numbers on behalf of the CRO
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team with deep domain expertise  in sales operations management and CRM architecture and administration
  • Own the data quality, architecture and configuration of our Salesforce CRM
  • Facilitate and support the seamless transition of the Billing functions from Sales Operations to Finance
  • Work closely with the Employers, Students, Matching, and Business Development teams to develop a globally aligned framework for sales forecasting and reporting
  • Work closely with the Matching (Financial Aid) and Finance teams to create a seamless order fulfillment and billing process
  • Automate sales and revenue forecasting using data-driven models for self-funded students, apprenticeships, and other B2B deals.
  • Collaborate closely with our Tech and Data/BI teams to ensure data consistency and create dashboards that help monitor OpenClassrooms operations and business
  • Drive the Revenue Performance roadmap of processes and tools by planning and scoping implementations and liaising with stakeholders
  • Assess the existing tools and processes and manage transition to the target architecture
  • Build and own the Salesforce architecture so that it is aligned with our product and strategy



REPORTING LINE

Reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.


Requirements

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

 

You might be a fit for this position if:

  • You have a proven leadership track record in building and operating revenue management or sales operations frameworks in a complex high-tech environment
  • You have excellent communication, problem-solving,  organizational skills and have proven experiences in program management
  • You are experienced integrating Salesforce with different business systems and familiar with APIs, web applications, databases, and system architecture
  • You have a significant managerial experience
  • You are very hands-on and autonomous
  • You are customer centric and see yourself as an advisor
  • Reliability and kindness are part of your mindset
  • Excellent English and French communication skills, both written and verbal (C1 level at the very least in both languages)

 

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s level education in business, marketing or engineering
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue performance or sales operations management, ideally in a technology-related industry
  • This is a global role. We require at least 2 years of international experience
  • Bonus Points if you have :
  • Salesforce and/or BI vendor certification
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce
  • 2+ years of startup experience
