Senior UI Designer

Job description

We are a small, but growing Design team. We are looking for a UI designer to work on applications for Mobile and desktop applications. Be ready to work in a fast paced agile environment where things are always changing.


Our ideal candidate has 3-5+ years experience, fluency in English, a master with Sketch or Figma-- and is always willing to learn things and take on new challenges.




Reports to the Head Art Director (Product)



  • Must strictly follow style guide and branding on all projects
  • Must strictly follow Material Design UI standards on every project
  • Up keep and maintain style guide in Figma
  • Work on large UI projects from start to finish on Responsive Web and native mobile application 
  • Uphold AA Accessibility design standards 
  • Ensure that developers have all assets necessary to execute design
  • Expert ability to communicate design clearly 
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision
  • Work in Agile sprints and keep tasks up to date in Jira


  • Strong portfolio
  • Fluency in English
  • Must be willing to learn Figma 
  • Willing to learn and uphold AA Accessibility design standards 
  • Comfortable following a style guide and reporting to the art director
  • Experience with native IOS and/or Android
  • Willing to become an expert in material design
  • Advanced understanding vector manipulation
  • Strong foundation with fundamentals of graphic design such as color theory, contrast and composition
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to work in fast paced agile environment
  • Good spirit and empathy
  • You are comfortable speaking and writing in French and English (correct spelling required)
  • You are organized and able to handle multiple tasks head-on.
  • You are meticulous with a keen eye for detail

Nice to have ++++

  • Animation skills
  • Any technical development experience or web development experience
  • Familiarity with a Material design
  • Familiarity with AA Accessibility design standards 
  • Expert with Figma


The journey starts with a phone interview and a meeting with Audrey, Hiring Manager.

Then we plan face to face meetings with Megan, Head Art Director and Romain, CTO

For the final round, you will meet some members of the Tech team and some members of other teams (Student Success, Revenues, Marketing…)

You will be asked to provide us with professional references contact detail.
