As the business development group of the leading online education platform in Europe and Africa, the mission of the Corporate sales team is to identify customers and help them to leverage their talent and learning strategy Transformation through the use of OpenClassrooms solutions. We aim to make education accessible in order to increase employee employability and help companies grow.

We are looking for a talented and competitive US/UK Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.


Working alongside the other members of the Business Development team, your main goal will be to achieve our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives on English-speaking international markets, with a focus on the US and the UK. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.



RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In this role, you will:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

  • Communicate OpenClassrooms’ value proposition

  • Understand customer needs and requirements

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate key account manager for further development and closure

  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

Requirements

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Proven inside sales experience

  • Track record of over-achieving quota

  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

  • Experience working with Salesforce

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Native English (French is a plus)

 

 

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

  • 2/3 years of experience as Inside Sales Representative within an international organization

Reports to the VP Business Development

 

 

HIRING PROCESS

The journey starts with a phone interview and a meeting with Audrey, Talent Acquisition Manager (30 minutes).

For the 1st round of interviews we plan face to face meetings with:

  • Attila, VP Business Development (1 hour)

For the 2nd round of interviews, you plan to:

  • Meet with Audrey, Talent Acquisition Manager (1 hour)

  • Take a technical assessment (study case) to be done at home or at the office (2 hours)

  • Take an English test to be done at home (at your own pace)

For the final round, we plan face to face with:

  • 2 Team members of the hiring manager (1 hour)

  • 2 peers from teams across the organization to discuss about Culture and Values at OpenClassrooms (1 hour)
