WHY ARE WE HIRING ?
The Sales Operations Director is a strategic leader tasked with maximizing sales performance and organizational productivity through data-driven strategies, process optimization, and digital tool stewardship.
This role develops and oversees the sales operations roadmap, ensures the alignment of systems and processes with business goals, and leads cross-functional initiatives to drive scalable growth.
Your strategic oversight spans across our different business units and markets (France & US), requiring a global vision and localized execution capabilities. Your team associates three specialists.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Analysis & Business Advisory
Lead analysis of sales performance and provide data-driven recommendations to executive leadership
Contribute to the forecasting model development, working in partnership with the data BI team.
Provide strategic insights through data analysis to inform sales strategy and decision-making
Own the performance governance, including the weekly sales meeting & contribute to the monthly meeting updating the forecast.
Design and optimize the sales process, workflows and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with the sales managers to coordinate sales tactics and methodologies aligned with company-wide growth targets across all business lines
Establish KPIs and operational dashboards to measure effectiveness across channels and initiatives
Analyze the needs to increase sales efficiency, visibility, and business impact and work with the product and the data team to select or develop new tools.
Partner across departments (Product, Marketing, CS) to ensure seamless data flow and user experience.
Promote adoption and best practices of digital tools and processes to improve sales productivity and operational efficiency.

Architect in cooperation with the Data team territory design strategy balancing market potential and team capabilities
Design and manage compensation and incentive programs that drive desired sales behaviors
Manage the execution of compensation plans with the HR team.
Develop and oversee pricing strategies for new products and markets and for all LOB.
Direct the periodic review of pricing to maximize bookings while ensuring competitive positioning
Ensure high-quality onboarding for new recruits and regular training for all the sales team.
Ensure the dissemination of information on product and training updates to the sales teams.
Maintain up to date critical sales documentations (eg. playbooks, process manuals…).
Foster the change management on commercial aspects, including organizing User Acceptance Tests (UAT) before major product or system releases.
Adopt and implement OpenClassrooms' management culture to support sustainable performance.
Oversee recruitment and development of team members
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
This role reports directly to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
You will lead a team of three, including one Sales Enablement Manager and two Sales Operations Specialists.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experienced Sales Operations leader with a solid background in managing teams, optimizing processes, and driving data-informed sales performance
Expert knowledge of Salesforce
Proven success designing and executing sales strategies
Solid experience in the management of sales territories and setting sales targets.
Strong record of leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable results
Advanced analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making
Strategic vision balanced with execution excellence
Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams
Fluent in English and French
Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or education sector preferred
